Welcome to JTL

JTL is one of the largest work-based learning providers in England and Wales working with over 3,800 businesses from large corporations to small local suppliers. We currently work with 8,000 learners and train more apprentices than anyone else in the building services engineering sector.

I would like to welcome you to JTL, the leading independent work-based training provider to the building services engineering sector. I would also like to thank you for considering making an application to join us.

Now is a very exciting time to join JTL as the sector we serve is buoyant.  Delivery of the nations carbon reduction targets will be very reliant on a good pipeline of high-quality apprentices for the building services engineering sector.

JTL has an enviable record of delivering high quality apprentices and continues to be a high performing and well-regarded organisation. However, there are also challenging times ahead in the further education sector with considerable policy and technological change affecting what we do and how we do it.

Good governance and leadership have a key part to play in the on-going development of JTL and therefore the roles of Chair and Group CEO are critical to achieving success in the future.

The board is made up of passionate and capable Trustee’s and the Executive Management team are experienced and highly capable. We are therefore looking for people that can provide the experience, skills and passion to lead JTL through its next period of development.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Steve Bratt
